The 34th National Continence Health Conference 2026 will be held at Pullman Melbourne Albert Park from May 13 to 16. The NCHC is Australia’s premier multidisciplinary meeting for health professionals working in bladder, bowel and pelvic health.

Continence Health Australia is hosting a General Practitioner Workshop on Saturday 16 May 2026 from 8.00am to 3.00pm.

Practical Pelvic Health and Continence Care for General Practice

Continence Health Australia's highly anticipated GP Workshop Program follows on from the National Continence Health Conference.

Pelvic floor and continence conditions are common and can present with complexities. This interactive, GP‑focused day provides practical, evidence‑based updates and hands‑on skills to support confident assessment, management, and referral.

Key learning areas:

  • How to confidently ask about bladder and bowel health
  • Approach to faecal incontinence and chronic constipation
  • Updates on OAB, prolapse, and prostate conditions – from conservative to advanced care
  • Focused examination, red flags, and referral pathways
  • How to best utilise pelvic floor physiotherapy

Who should attend?

All General Practitioners and GP registrars with an interest in women’s health, men’s health, geriatrics, or chronic disease management.
