During the workshop, we will have real patient models for you to scan. These individuals have provided informed consent for their participation for undergoing ultrasound, specifically being scanned for teaching purposes, with scanning through the skin of the anterior and lateral abdomen and lower abdomen/pelvis only to be performed. We are committed to ensuring the utmost respect for patient privacy and modesty at all times. Throughout the session, we emphasize the importance of open, respectful communication and continuous consent. We believe that effective communication is just as vital as proper scanning technique in providing high-quality, compassionate care.
